Komodo Honeymoon Cruise: Private Balcony Jacuzzi Suites

For a Komodo honeymoon cruise the cabin choice is short: Lady Grace has two Suite Ocean View cabins, and they are the only cabins on board with a private balcony and jacuzzi. Open-trip rate is IDR 8,500,000 per person for the 3D2N itinerary, minimum two people – which a couple meets by definition. If you would rather not share the boat at all, the whole 34-metre phinisi charters from IDR 94,000,000 for one night or IDR 123,000,000 for two, for up to ten guests. Park fees are extra.
Rate note. Every rupiah figure on this page is the operator’s published rate read on 31 July 2026. Komodo National Park fees are set by government regulation, are not included, and change without notice. Ask the booking desk to confirm the current total in writing before you pay a deposit.
The cabins that work for couples
All ten cabins have a private bathroom and air conditioning, so the difference between grades is view, bed configuration and outdoor access rather than basic comfort. For two people the shortlist is three grades.
| Cabin grade | On board | Bed | Private balcony | Jacuzzi | Open trip per person |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Suite Ocean View | 2 | Double | Yes | Yes, private | IDR 8,500,000 |
| Junior Suite Ocean View | 1 | Double | Yes | No | IDR 8,000,000 |
| Grand Deluxe Ocean View | 2 | Double | No, sea-view window | No | IDR 7,750,000 |
| Deluxe | 4 | Double | No, porthole | No | IDR 5,750,000 |
| Superior | 1-2 | Bunk bed | No | No | IDR 5,250,000 |
The practical order: Suite Ocean View if the balcony matters, Junior Suite if you want the balcony without the jacuzzi, Grand Deluxe if the view from bed is enough. Superior cabins are bunk beds and are not a couples grade. Cabin-by-cabin detail is on the Suite Ocean View cabin page and the full cabin options overview.
One honest caveat. The operator’s published specification lists a single bunk-bed Superior cabin while the cabin section lists two. If Superior berths matter to your group, ask the booking desk to confirm the exact count for your departure before you commit.
Taking the whole boat
Couples charter the full vessel more often than you would expect – for elopements, small weddings, anniversary trips with both families, or simply because two people on a boat built for twenty-four is the most private thing money buys in this park.
| Duration | 1-10 guests | 11-20 guests | Each additional guest |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2D1N | IDR 94,000,000 | IDR 100,000,000 | IDR 4,000,000 |
| 3D2N | IDR 123,000,000 | IDR 129,000,000 | IDR 5,500,000 |
| 4D3N | IDR 157,000,000 | IDR 165,000,000 | IDR 7,000,000 |
On a charter you set the schedule. That is worth more here than in most destinations, because the two best moments of the itinerary are at the ends of the day and both are negotiable when nobody else is on board. Charter mechanics are on the private phinisi charter page, and if you only have one night, the 2D1N charter page sets out exactly what fits.
The moments the route actually delivers
No invented amenities on this page – just the parts of the standard itinerary that happen to be extraordinary for two people.
- Kalong Island at dusk. The boat anchors off the mangroves and thousands of flying foxes lift off against the sunset while dinner is served on the open deck. It lasts about twenty minutes and needs no arranging.
- Padar at 06:00. A stepped climb in the dark to the three-bay viewpoint, with the light arriving while you are up there. Go early and the ridge is close to empty.
- Taka Makassar at midday. A crescent sandbar that surfaces with the tide, surrounded by unusually clear water. The most photographed place on the route for good reason.
- The sundeck between stops. Jacuzzi, open seating, no schedule for an hour or two while the boat repositions.
The photo and video package is included: drone, GoPro and mirrorless coverage with the raw footage handed over. There is no edited film in the package, and the drone ticket is a separate cost quoted by the operator at around IDR 2,100,000 with a seven-day permit lead time.

Best months for a honeymoon sailing
April to November is the dry season and June to September is the most settled – flat water, 20-30 metres of visibility, and the highest chance the Padar sunrise is actually a sunrise. That is also when the Suite cabins clear first. December to March brings peak manta sightings and lower prices across the market, at the cost of rain and reduced visibility.
| Month | Sea and weather | Typical visibility | What it means on the water |
|---|---|---|---|
| January | Wet, heaviest rain | 10-15 m | Peak manta season at Karang Makassar |
| February | Wet, heaviest rain | 10-15 m | Peak manta season, routes adjusted for swell |
| March | Wet, easing | 10-15 m | End of the peak manta window |
| April | Start of the dry season | 20-30 m | Seas settling, fewer boats |
| May | Dry | 20-30 m | Strong manta sightings with better visibility |
| June | Dry, most settled | 20-30 m+ | Prime conditions, calendars fill early |
| July | Dry, most settled | 20-30 m+ | Peak demand; south Komodo water cools to 24-26 C |
| August | Dry, most settled | 20-30 m+ | Peak demand; upwelling continues in the south |
| September | Dry, most settled | 20-30 m+ | Prime conditions, demand easing late in the month |
| October | Dry | 20-30 m | Warm, calm, good value |
| November | End of the dry season | 20-30 m | Transitional, still widely sailed |
| December | Wet begins | 10-15 m | Manta numbers rising, holiday demand high |
Full pricing across every duration and cabin grade sits on the luxury Komodo cruise overview. If both Suites are taken on your dates, more Komodo sailing options may have equivalent cabins on another hull.
